Biography
Prof. Aleksandr Urakov - Head of the Department of General and Clinical Pharmacology at the Izhevsk State Medical Academy and Leading Researcher of the Department of Modeling and Synthesis of Technological Structures at the Institute of Mechanics, Udmurt Federal Research Center, Ural Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences. He is a leader in the study of local temperature, acid (alkaline), osmotic, gravitational, mechanical, aggregation, and aeration activity of tablets and drug solutions during their local application. Thanks to achievements in this direction new groups of drugs have been discovered: pus dissolvers, hematoma bleaches, lymphatic drug substitutes and aerated solutions. Professor A. Urakov is a pioneer of temperature pharmacology, physical-chemical pharmacology and physical-chemical material science. Professor A. Urakov is the author or co-author of 230 patents for inventions and supervisor of 38 doctors and biologists, who successfully defended their PhD theses.
